Recenzia/ Review: Astor Cover Stick Corrector/ Korektor

Ja som si dnes pripravila recenziu na korektor, ktorý som používala asi 4 roky, konkrétne Astor Cover stick.
Cosmetics and especially foundations or concealers are probably horror of every woman. We try millions of products until we find the right one.
Today, I prepared a review to corrector, which I used about 4 years, Astor Cover stick.

Ale najprv trochu technického okienka. U nás na Slovensku, máme všeobecné pomenovanie korektor na všetko, čo má zakryť nedostatky. Avšak v anglickom jazyku sa rozlišujú 2 typy: corrector a concealer. Concealer je zvyčajne na kruhy pod očami ale môže sa použiť aj na vyrážky. Corrector má tuhšiu konzistenciu a musí a nanášať na make-up, zatiaľ čo concealer obvykle pod. V angličtine sa väčšinou stretnete iba s pojmom concealer, čiže keď hľadáte niečo na googli, tak určite pod slovom concealer a nie corrector, aj keď to v podstate znamená to isté.
But at first, a little bit of technical stuff. In Slovakia we use just word ,,corrector" to everything what should cover weaknesses. We don´t differentiate between corrector or concealer. But in english, concealer is usually on dark circles under eyes but it can be used on pimples too. Corrector has thicker consistency and it should be used on foundation, whereas concealer usually under.


A teraz k recenzii. Ako som už spomínala, korektor som používala 4 roky, ale teraz chcem zmenu, pretože má aj negatíva.
Ale pekne po poriadku. Korektor je tuhý- vo forme tyčinky, čo je pre niekoho plus a pre iného mínus. Záleží na tom, na čo ste zvyknutí.
And now the review. As I mentioned, I used the corrector for 4 years, but now I want a change, because it has also drawbacks.
But first things first. The corrector is thick- in stick form, which is plus for someone, but for other it´s minus. It depends on what you prefer. 

Výhody:
Vysúva sa pootočením obalu. Podľa mňa je to lepšie, ako vytláčať korektor z tuby. Je síce v tyčinke, ale pri nanášaní vôbec nie je taký tuhý, veľmi dobre sa s ním pracuje. Jeho najlepšia výhoda je, že naozaj veľmi dobre kryje. Používala som ho na vyrážky a jazvy po nich, a bol super. Takisto je veľmi dobrý pre baby so svetlou pleťou. Tie, ktoré ju majú mi určite dajú za pravdu, že nájsť aspoň farebne OK korektor je ťažké a to nehovoriac o krytí. Ja používam odtieň 001 a úplne mi vyhovuje.
Pros:
It´s pushed out by twist of cover. According to me, it´s better than push it out from tube. It´s a stick, but in application it´s absolutely not so thick, it´s very good to work with it. Its best benefit is that it has very good coverage. I used it on pimples and acne scars, and it was great. It´s also very good for girls with pale skin. The girls who have it, can certainly agree with me that find concealer/corrector great at least in color is very difficult and not to mention coverage. I use shade 001 and it´s perfect for me.

Nevýhody:
Tých je trošku viac ako výhod. Napríklad, po nanesení ho treba prepudrovať, lebo sa leskne, čiže ak máte tmavší make-up, usadí sa na korektor sa spôsobí fľaky. Takisto je to s lícenkou. Tú už pre istotu ani nepoužívam, lebo tam by boli fľaky očividné. Najhoršie je, že sa otláča. Vždy a na všetko. Fľaky od korektoru mám na mobile, oblečení, apod. Takisto sa rýchlo rozmaže ak si prejdete po tom mieste.
Cons:
There are little bit more cons than pros. For example, after application, it´s necessary to use powder, because it glints, so if you have darker foundation, it clings to corrector and it causes stamps. Same is with blusher. I even don´t use blusher anymore, because stamps would be more obvious there. The worst is that it leaves marks. Always and to everything. I have corrector stamps on my mobile, on clothes, etc. If you run finger over it, it´s quickly smudges. 



Môj názor:
Keby nebolo aspoň toho, že sa všade otláča určite by som ho používala naďalej. Krytie a farba sú pre mňa skvelé, ale nevýhody sú predsa len väčšie. Čiže po 4 rokoch používania a presúvam k nejakému inému a ten si už nekúpim.
My opinion:
If it wouldn´t be the fact that it leaves marks to everything, I´d still definitely use it. Coverage and color are perfect for me, but cons are bigger. So after 4 years of using, I move to some another concealer and I will not buy this one anymore.
